      Well worth it. I did it over 3 months, from June to July. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Watch out for the midges in Scotland though!

   Hey, great points on the map.

   I’ve been contemplating a round Britain for next year by using the Sustrans Cycle Network.

   I’ll be happy to test the midges out and compare them to the New Zealand sand fly. Which in my books was the top predator!

      Thanks Nigel. Some of he Sustrans routes can be a little tricky at times. Went down a few that were more like mountain bike trails, and a few that led me somewhat astray route wise! Good luck with the midges, don’t like the sound of the sand flies.

      And I don’t think people really realise the threat sheep pose, they’re a menace, and are possibly plotting to take over the world.
