Bike around Britain Post authorOctober 9, 2013 at 11:30 Well worth it. I did it over 3 months, from June to July. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Watch out for the midges in Scotland though! Reply ↓
Nigel October 10, 2013 at 01:41 Hey, great points on the map. I’ve been contemplating a round Britain for next year by using the Sustrans Cycle Network. I’ll be happy to test the midges out and compare them to the New Zealand sand fly. Which in my books was the top predator! Reply ↓
Bike around Britain Post authorOctober 10, 2013 at 23:06 Thanks Nigel. Some of he Sustrans routes can be a little tricky at times. Went down a few that were more like mountain bike trails, and a few that led me somewhat astray route wise! Good luck with the midges, don’t like the sound of the sand flies. Reply ↓
